Also, recruiting continues. We have a few new members and are interested in adding a couple more when we meet the right people. We are still taking our time recruiting to make sure we're getting the right people, but I've been really happy with the new members so far because of this.

I hope we'll build up the league steadily over the next few weeks and then have a good core team for when the next DLC launches. Please help out new members if you see them. And new members speak up! Introduce yourselves, ask for help, etc.

While our Leaders and us Veterans will try to keep activities going when we can, do not forget that you are now a member too. Don't feel ashamed to ask if anyone wants to run a certain alert. Dont be shy to talk to other new members or members in general. You were all added because we felt you would be an excellent fit for our League. You can also schedule events on the website event calendar if/when you want to do something specific one day/night. If you need hlp doing this so just let one of the Leaders or Veterans know.

 

 

On to business now, I have updated the website Veteran Acconts to now have the traditional powers of a Forum Moderator. I have also added a R&D Forum and moved all R&D threads there. There will be a new R&D List in the near future that will hopefully be more organized.

 

 

I have also gone through permissions and there should be no reason that people with Member Accounts cannot see stickied threads. If you still cannot see them normally, please send me a message.

 

 

Also thanks to Oracle help, I've managed to finally remove Brainiac from our systems. As such the "About the Titans" page should now properly display.

There is no time limit, just whenever you get the time.

I have also added the Candidate Application Page with the Form and given everyone currently able to add someone to the League in-game the ability to view new appliactions. If I missed someone, please let me know.

 

When/if you are a new member and Dusk gives you the ability to add new members, please let me know so I can add you as well.

I have also begun working on an R&D system for the website. How this will work is when you get a new R&D plan and wish for the League to know, you submit an update form. Someone from the website staff (myself, Dusk, or Scar) will then update the R&D Database page.

 

You do not need to submit forms for anything posted in the old R&D forum topic, BUT please do not update that thread from this point forward, instead use the form.

 

Unfortunately, it appears that Brainiac has not wasted time and has taken this opportunity to infect another portion of our website. Oracle and I will get rid of him ASAP.

That's right. After all of my teasing and hinting and promising, the new theme for our website is none other than Green Lantern Hal Jordan.

Along with this theme update comes a few many website updates:

Needed Roles
This little box under the mini-cal on the home page shows what roles we need more than others. This is to make it easier for members to decide on what Alts to make and what roles to specifically recruit, should they want to.

Custom Forum Icons
I custom designed a set of new forum icons to go with the new theme.

Gallery Updates
Three new folders were added to the Gallery. I hope members will find use for them ;) Only pictures submitted to the folder titled "The Exobyte Titans" will be displayed on the from page.

Features Removed/Moved
Some Misc. Features that were either not properly added with the initial set-up were removed. Also, some other features were moved to other pages on the website where they fit in better.

Brainiac Infection
Ah, yes....while working on updating the website, it would appear that Brainiac infected part of it. I am currently working with Oracle to resolve this issue, but in the mean time try not to be alarmed too much if the infection spreads. We will try to contain it as much as possible.

We'll be back strong after Christmas, ramping up raiding and gear grinding and maybe even welcoming even more new members until we have a strong end-game core in our league. Until then...

We are casually serious, meaning we want to excel at the game, but also understand people have lives outside DCUO. We are welcoming to experienced and newer players alike. We help each other, whether it's leveling or end-game alerts and raids. We generally have an open recruitment policy, welcoming anyone into the league that has an interest in joining, but we will remove anyone from the league who is not respectful of others or a good representative of our group.

This site is new. League members should register. We'll use this site to communicate with each other outside of the game. Feel free to upload picks of in-game activity, connect on the forums, or schedule events. We won't likely ever have "raid night" because of people having flexible schedules, but we should use the calendar to coordinate individual raids as we need to.
